With a creative that prescribed the need for music to incite emotion, I directed & art directed the commercial and stills for the streaming music service.
Our method on set was to ask the talent to bring music that made them emotional in many different ways.
We then took those tracks as a guide to whatelse they might like and tried to surprise them as the camera was rolling.
This lead to many genuine moments and looks that made the final cut as they got lost in a particular track.
